Symantec has launched an Opportunity Registration Programme as part of its efforts to improve the predictability and profitability of its partners’ business.
The initiative will allow Platinum, Gold and Silver Corporate partners to earn up to 33 per cent more rebate on new business registered with the vendor.
The security and storage giant said this would give partners more predictability on the rebates it pays and, in turn, improve their cashflow.

Jason Ellis, Symantec EMEA channel vice president, said: “We recognise that partners need to know the margin they will make on new business opportunities with Symantec.
“This enhancement to our programme provides a greater focus on helping to increase profitability on a per-deal basis and reduced emphasis on quarterly volume goals.”
Peter Spreadbury, director of Enterprise Solutions at corporate reseller SCC, said: “The changes will significantly enhance our ability to both generate new business and invest in skills and capabilities to deliver value to our mutual customers.”
