Microsoft Windows management vendor RES Software has recruited Citrix veteran Steve Atkinson to “activate” current partners and launch a new channel programme next year.
With 18 years of industry experience, Atkinson has spent the past 10 at Citrix as pre-sales manager for its system engineer team.
RES has also announced the availability of RES PowerFuse MyWorkspace Edition.

Intercept and Ramsac are among the vendor's 15-strong VAR base, and business development manager Grant Tiller said the vendor is looking to ramp up that number.
“We want partners that have their finger on the technology pulse, as we have strong relationships with Citrix and VMware,” he said.
Atkinson, who is pre-sales consultant at RES Software, said: “I will be focusing on developing our existing partners, by increasing activity over the next year.”
