Specialist security VAR Gradian has won a lucrative contract to supply workplace services firm PHS with a complete email security system.
The VAR will implement CipherTrust’s IronMail appliance and its TrustedSource sender reputation system, to help PHS fight its growing spam and email threat. PHS offers services such as washroom services and interior landscaping. It employs more than 3,000 staff to service more than 250,000 customers.
Wayne Evans, infrastructure manager at PHS, said: “Each PHS customer has a unique email domain that they can use to communicate with the PHS personnel who are servicing their business.
“As we have so many locations and contacts throughout our customer network we need to be especially vigilant that our email is working efficiently and has the protection in place to eliminate most forms of spam and malware.”
Damian Acklam, founder of Gradian, said: “PHS sees us as its security partner, which is why it came to us for advice on a best practice solution to address its email security issues.
“We chose to recommend CipherTrust’s IronMail appliance because it offers an extensible platform that addresses strategic and tactical security issues for the company. IronMail will serve PHS’s security needs for the next 12 to 18 months, delivering a great return on investment.”
