Channel sources have told CRN that staff at Equanet have been unsettled by the firm's failure to land a slice of Buying Solutions' £6bn public IT framework.
One confirmed departure is head of managed accounts Simon Cook, who resigned this week after only a month in the job. Parent company DSGi declined to comment on Cook's tenure or resignation.
Last month, Equanet fell at the first hurdle of the race to grab a piece of the government's £6bn IT provision framework, which was launched in August. One industry insider, who wished to remain anonymous, claimed the news had disquieted many employees.

"I have had three or four CVs from Equanet land on my desk in the past few days," said the source. "It seems concern is mounting after it lost the (Buying Solutions) contract."
Last week the firm was also rocked by the departure of DSGi Business interim managing director Martin Dorchester.
Dorchester parted ways with the company less than 12 months after replacing predecessor Jerry Roest. Finance development director James Welsh assumes the post, becoming the firm's third boss inside a year, while the search for a permanent successor continues.
