Imago has opened a Scottish office following an increase in business in the region.
The video communications distributor’s new office is located in Bellshill, Lanarkshire.
Ian Vickerage, managing director of Imago, told CRN: “We’ve had Steven Sheridan in Scotland for some time. We have promoted him to country manager and taken on Anthony Caw as an internal account manager to work alongside him. We’ve seen an increase in business up there and realised we could increase this further if we added resources.”
Sheridan said: “The Scottish market offers huge potential. This expansion is the next logical step in the development of Imago’s business north of the border.”
Andrew Smith, senior associate at analyst Sandy Brown, said: “I expect that Scotland has become lucrative for Imago because it has had a guy working the patch and he has put the effort in and got the results. I don’t see that Scotland offers more potential for video communications than anywhere else. Top marks to Imago for this self-developed growth.”
