HDS appoints sales director

Ambitious storage vendor Hitachi Data Systems has appointed Warren Duke as sales director for the UK and Ireland.

Having racked up 15 years’ industry experience, Duke will be tasked with ensuring the vendor’s sales teams reach their targets.

Duke said: “I am responsible for driving the business forward and hitting the set financial targets. In the future there will also be a UK telesales team formed, which will underpin the efforts of the sales force.”

Prior to HDS Duke was a founder of reseller Platinum Blue, now known as Northdoor, which he ran for 10 years.
