Giant Overland Storage has signed the Nordic division of distributor Zycko to offer the vendor’s data protection appliances to the storage and data network channel.
Zycko will add Overland’s solutions for backup and restore, data protection, data consolidation and other services to its portfolio.
The partnership also enables Zycko to offer Overland’s partner programme to its resellers, including benefits such as a rebate scheme for disk, tape and NAS sales.

The distributor plans to focus on Overland’s Snap Server NAS devices, NEO tape libraries, REO disk-based backup appliances and Ultamus Raid storage.
