Reseller BuyIT Technologies has revealed its mission to build a European channel for conferencing specialist vendor partner RHUB Communications is starting to pick up pace.
RHUB picked BuyIT as its European distributor earlier this year and tasked the VAR with signing up other resellers to sell the vendor's conferencing appliances and software. BuyIT's sales director Phil Suter told CRN he had recently undertaken an email blast initiative which had sparked interest among a number of potential resellers, three of whom have already inked deals.
Suter revealed he had initially been an end user customer of RHUB's products before opting to become a reseller. He said: "I could not understand why millions of people were not already using it; when you consider what it can do for a company – it is actually quite immense."

He claimed he was taking aim at the SME space and that RHUB's products would be of particular interest to salespeople and technical people but their appeal could be far broader than that. "I defy anybody to think of an industry where this would not work. This is a good tool for everything from one-man-bands to very large organisations."
BuyIT is currently focusing on recruiting UK partners before turning its attention to mainland Europe. Suter said: "We want about 15 to 20 resellers that are strategically focused on different market segments."
