Reseller dabs.com's new commercial director David Gould has claimed the power of parent company BT was central to his decision to join the online VAR.
Gould recently spent more than six years at retail giant
DSGi,
initially as trading director and latterly as commercial director. Prior to
that, he held various sales and marketing positions with MicroWarehouse, having
begun his career in IT recruitment.
Gould said: "Joining dabs.com and the BT Group is a great opportunity for me.
dabs.com is a very successful business with access to tremendous assets through
BT. This puts it in a prime position to capitalise on the opportunities
surrounding solutions-based propositions that combine hardware and ICT services.
I look forward to playing an integral role in the development of the business."
Simon Curry, dabs.com's chief executive, added: "David is a dedicated, talented and versatile manager who is passionate about making a positive difference in an industry of which he has a wealth of knowledge. We are delighted he has joined the executive team at dabs.com and are sure he will be hugely successful."
