Former Bell Micro executive Jan Lawford has been appointed by communications vendor Avaya as senior director of EMEA channels.
Lawford left Bell Micro earlier this year having served at the distributor for 18 months as European commercial director. She has worked in the industry for more than 14 years in a variety of sales and channel development roles.

"With her wealth of channel experience in both the UK and EMEA, Jan is well regarded throughout the industry, and she will provide critical input to the EMEA management team as Avaya implements our high-touch channel-centric strategy across EMEA," said Bayer.
"I am confident Jan will excel in this new role by deepening existing partner relationships and expanding Avaya's partner base to drive significant business growth," he said.
