Network storage vendor Infortrend is on a mission to secure market share in the enterprise space, with the help of new channel partners.
Known for its RAID EonStor technology aimed at SMEs, the vendor is gearing up for the June release of its new Enterprise Scalable Virtualised Architecture (ESVA). EVSA is pitched as a RAID solution for a budget that reflects the current economic climate.
Infortrend will scout for partners to take on EVSA during its Enterprise Storage Roadshow in June.
Jon Ashley, director of marketing at Infortrend, said: “We have no distributor for this new product and plan to increase our channel investment with more resellers and system integrators.
“We will be competing with the likes of EMC, HP and IBM by providing a faster return on investment on a budget that reflects the current economy.”
Paul Hickingbotham, solutions manager at storage distributor Hammer, said: “Infortrend has a large footprint in the SME space. With a feature-rich product at a competitive pricepoint, this move will certainly cause a stir in the market.”
Infortrend’s roadshow will take place on 11 June at the Sofitel hotel, Terminal 5, Heathrow Airport.
