Storage and multimedia distributor CCI Distribution has added Hitachi Global Storage Technologies' (Hitachi GST's) range of portable and desktop external hard drives to its UK portfolio.
Harrogate-based CCI already distributes Hitachi GST’s range of mobile, desktop and enterprise internal hard drives.
The partnership kicked off this month and Nick Preston, sales director at CCI, said: “We are delighted that Hitachi GST has selected us as a UK distributor for its external storage products, further extending our product portfolio for resellers.

“The next step will be to ensure that our partner base is brought quickly up to speed on the Hitachi external storage family, so that in June we can hit the ground running and reward Hitachi’s commitment to us with immediate results.”
The distributor now offers more than 1,000 products from vendors such as LG, Hitachi and HP.
