Sony has plugged the gap left by Steljes in its projector distribution line-up with the appointment of Computer 2000 (C2000).
As revealed by CRN, Sony and Steljes have decided to part company (CRN, 16 July). From 1 August, C2000 will sit alongside Imago, Midwich and Micro Peripherals.
Naina Tailor, audiovisual (AV) sales manager at Sony Professional Solutions Europe, said: “One of our main focuses for this year is the SME channel. C2000 seemed the natural choice because it has a strong focus on SME resellers, particularly with its AV division.”
Darren Sainsbury, C2000’s AV business manager, said: “Sony finds we’re complementary to its other distributors and Sony is complementary to our other projector brands.”
