Dell has unveiled its latest UK Certified partner in the form of Basingstoke-based reseller Taran Microsystems.

Taran has joined Dell’s PartnerDirect programme as a Certified partner, achieving both the SME and enterprise architecture accreditations. The badge will grant the reseller access to field-based account management and a range of financing options, deal registration and support from the vendor.

Taran, which has been working with Dell for many years, indicated it would focus on Dell’s EqualLogic storage range.

“iSCSI SAN and virtualisation is definitely the way forward and we are very confident that our sales will increase with this addition to our product portfolio.”

The announcement comes shortly after Dell anointed former EqualLogic UK boss Paul Harrison as its new UK channel head, replacing Andy Dow.
