Private cloud management software vendor Embotics has signed a pan-European distribution deal with Magirus.
The Canadian vendor's flagship product is called V-Commander: a mid-market product that allows end users to provision and manager their own virtual machines.
The deal will allow Magirus to offer the product to its 6,000 European reseller partners, and the firm has also committed to embarking on joint marketing events with the vendor.
Christian Magirus, chief operating officer at Magirus, said Embotics products will make it easier for VARs to tackle private cloud migration projects.

"Its products will open the door for resellers who want to step up to provide consultancy services and offers another string to the bow for those already acting as trusted cloud advisers," he said.
Jay Litkey, chief executive of Embotics, said the vendor had chosen Magirus because of its focus on virtual datacentre and cloud technologies.
"There is a huge market opportunity for European resellers to go into organisations with small virtual environments, offer consultancy services and perform comprehensive assessments that show the reality of their virtual estates," he added.
