This week marks CRN Fight Night 2009, where 18 brave fighters from the channel have been training hard for the past three months to get to peak fighting fitness.
We have had our usual run of trials and traumas, and sadly have lost a couple of boxers along the way to injury, but the remaining fighters which come from a selection vendors, resellers and distributors are champing at the bit to get their few minutes of fame in the ring.
I personally was amazed at the event last year. I was not a huge fan of boxing before the opening bell last year, but I am definitely a convert now.
The event was a heady mix of excitement, adrenaline, fun and some seriously close boxing bouts. And it raised plenty of money for a great selection of charities.
The audience were all behind the fighters, and certainly got into the spirit of the evening, shouting on their favourites and even encouraging their opponents. The atmosphere truly was fantastic and I’m sure it will be this year.
I would also like to thank all the kind companies that have donated prizes for the charity auction that takes place at the half way point it really does make a difference to the money raised.
If you are coming along, see you there. It should be another great night.

Boxing is so much fun!
Sara, You are spot on! Boxing is such fun once you try it! It's a very powerful feeling to be in the ring - just you and your opponent. Everyone should try it!
