What achievement are you most proud of?
I'm proud of my work achievements but being a Dad tops everything.
What has been the biggest change in the channel since you started working in it?
The changing face of distribution and how we have had to evolve our model to keep pace with technology and the demands of our customers, large or small.
What three things could you not live without?
My smartphone, football and red wine. The smartphone is obvious but I love my football and what's better than a large glass of red wine to relax with!
What has been your most embarrassing moment so far?
As a goalkeeper I have made some howlers along the way, some I just wanted the ground to open up and swallow me.
What do your family think you do all day?
My boys think that I make computers and deliver them at night!
Who is your ultimate celeb crush?
Evangeline Lilly.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Who doesn't enjoy a bit of Take That every now and then?
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
I'd buy some new suits ready for the TV and make sure I know my way around No.10.
Has 2015 been a good, bad or ugly year?
It has been a challenging but ultimately rewarding year. Personally and professionally a lot has happened but I like to think it has made me a stronger person.
If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would you do?
I would love to work in the sports industry. I've always thought that being a sports agent would be good and see what actually happens behind closed doors.
What major issues will the channel face in 2016?
I think retaining and recruiting top talent is getting harder, so it's really important to keep developing your business and your staff to ensure they're on the journey with you.
