What achievement are you most proud of?

Making a Jamie's 15-minute meal in 15 minutes.

What has been the biggest change in the channel since you started working in it?

The channel is in constant change, that's what makes it such an exciting and dynamic environment. The challenge right now is to remain relevant to your suppliers and customers. Right now, the pace of change in the market is remarkable with the shift to software and services-led engagements leading the way; we all need to adapt and keep up.

What three things could you not live without?

1. My phone - I can't live without communication, and how did we ever cope with a train commute before Instagram? 2. My passport - I can't live without travel. 3. My football season tickets - I can't live without the beautiful game.

What has been your most embarrassing moment so far?

There are way too many to choose from. This questionnaire would comfortably make the top 10.

What do your family think you do all day?

Writing computer code or building PCs while travelling the world. Who is your ultimate celeb crush? Crush? I stopped having crushes when I was 14. Or did you mean celebs I'd like to crush?

What is your guilty pleasure?

Listening to Talksport Radio.

What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?

The NHS and education system would be operated by a cross-Commons committee, to avoid the five-year shift to the left and to the right. These are the issues that impact the lives of millions across the country.

Has 2015 been a good, bad or ugly year?

All years are good years. Life is too short.

If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would you do?

In an ideal world, a travel writer on a decent budget.

What major issues will the channel face in 2016?

Adapting to the multiple market influences. We all have an enormous opportunity to embrace the Internet of Things. What is your value proposition in the new world and how do you intend to monetise it?
