BSG integrates videostreaming from Vividas

VAR combines vendor's streaming technology with its Rocketseed service

Written by Laura Hailstone

VAR Business Systems Group (BSG) is integrating videostreaming technology from vendor Vividas with its existing Rocketseed service.

BSG will offer end-users a service whereby Rocketseed automatically tailors emails with an appropriate marketing message for the person receiving the email. Vividas’s streaming technology has also been integrated into Rocketseed to stream video into emails.

Nick Gerard, chief executive of BSG, said: “The combination of Rocketseed and Vividas’s streaming technology will bring a dynamism to one-to-one email marketing. It signals the next move forward from a static HTML email page, to one that can feature personalised messages with high-quality video.”

Richard Collins, group chief executive of Vividas, said: “We have split our offerings into four product areas: corporate TV, viral TV, web TV and live TV. We are looking for a couple of resellers for each area.”
