Sony appoints Direct Visual

VAR will join vendor's other direct VC resellers in servicing key vertical markets

Written by Laura Hailstone

Sony has appointed videoconferencing (VC) VAR Direct Visual as a direct reseller for key vertical markets.

Raj Pandya, senior manager at Sony’s audiovisual (AV) communications channel, told CRN: “We recently formed an AV communications channel team. The structure focuses on Sony’s communication and security offering. We also identified five key vertical markets: legal, education, corporate, health and finance. We have appointed direct resellers with expertise in these areas.”

Direct Visual will join Sony’s other direct VC VARs: Martin Dawes Solutions, Midland Communications UK, Questmark, Scotia UK, and Wire One Communications.

Mike Phillips, chairman at Direct Visual, told CRN: “We are one of the few businesses that has been a VC specialist for a long time and that has embraced the IP side of things."
