Stuart Mann, the former managing director of failed VAR Future Networks Systems Sales (FNS), attended a preliminary court hearing last Wednesday at Southwark Crown Court.
FNS went into administration in 2003 with debts believed to be in the region of £3m to £4m. Bell Microproducts Europe, Computer 2000, and Ingram Micro were among the creditors.
Mann, along with his co-defendant Denise Davie, are reported to be facing charges of alleged conspiracy and fraudulent trading.
A representative at Southwark Crown Court, told CRN: “Mann and Davie attended the preliminary hearing on 18 October and the case has now been adjourned until 26 January 2007 when the defendants will attend a plea and case-management hearing.”
Eddie Pacey, director of credit services at Bell, said: “If it does go to trial, several of Bell’s staff who had direct dealings with Mann might be called as witnesses.”
