Comms-care expands to Ireland

VAR looks for luck of the Irish as it celebrates the opening of a new office in Dublin

Written by Trevor Treharne

VAR Comms-care has opened a new office in central Dublin, to boost the firm's fortunes in the Irish market.

Comms-care claims to already have some clients based in Ireland, many of which are large IT support companies. It also has over ten engineers in the region, a figure which is expected to double next year.

John Carney will head up the new offices as regional manager and will be joined by Joanne Conway who will be assisting Carney in business development and management of new and existing accounts.

Scott Yates, managing director of Comms-care, said: “There is a huge market potential in Ireland both long and short term. As well as supporting our existing clients, the new offices will provide the perfect opportunity to establish our presence in the region. We hope to build on our foundations in Ireland by developing more effective relationships in the market.”
