Emulex
has launched a web-based partner programme to recruit new resellers across
Europe.
The silver-, gold- and platinum-tiered programme is open to any software
networking resellers and integrators in the region.
Emulex is also unveiling a dedicated web portal that will offer access to sales
and technical training, promotions and deal registration to help resellers
accelerate the growth of SAN and increase turnover.
Craig Skelton, channel director of EMEA for Emulex, said: “We have launched an
all-in-one portal to enable better access and better choice for our reseller
partners. We want to create awareness about the value of the host bus adapter
(HBA), which is sometimes overlooked.”
He added: “The portal offers an easy choice, so resellers will choose our
products over those of the competition. Emulex is looking to increase its market
share and channel presence as 40 per cent of our turnover is achieved through
the channel.”
Skelton also claimed the programme would benefit Emulex’s distributors, which
will assist resellers in registration deals.
“Our distributors have embraced the new programme,” he said. “It enables them to
enhance their relationships with resellers, meaning better value and better
margins.”

programme, which is further enhanced by the web site.
“The portal offers deal registration, demos and trading programmes. The
technology updates will provide resellers and end users with what is new in the
market place.”
