VAR PCS set for break up

Productivity grinds to a halt at PCS

Written by Garry Hayes

Administrators have confirmed that struggling reseller Productivity Computer Solutions (PCS) is to be broken up and sold.

The Wakefield-based firm called in administrators Tait Walker last month with debts believed to be around £1.2m (CRN, 29 October). CRN has since learned that all staff have been made redundant and the company will be put on the market once an agreement has been reached with its creditors.

Alan Kelly, administrator at Tait Walker, said: “The business will be sold on and we are in the process of talking to interested parties. There are people interested in certain parts of the business, but there are a number of obstacles we need to overcome before we can reach any agreement.”
