C2000 strengthens Microsoft team

Distributor appoints Dwayne Earl to grow Microsoft business

Written by kayleigh bateman

Broadliner Computer 2000 (C2000) has appointed Dwayne Earl as its new Microsoft business manager to spearhead a campaign to drive up its software business.

Earl, who has been at C2000 for seven years, was previously business manager servers and storage, where he spent two years heading up server and storage sales.

In a statement Earl said: “This is an exciting opportunity as the potential to grow our business with Microsoft and in the specialist software division as a whole is considerable.

I have seen the value side of the market from the hardware side and that experience will, I am sure, prove to be useful in helping me to understand and meet the needs of our software reseller customers,” he added.

James Reed, general manager of the software business unit at C2000, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have brought Dwayne in to take up this vitally important role within out specialist software business unit.”

Reed added, “Microsoft is a key vendor partner for C2000 and it’s vitally important that we place an appropriate degree of focus and emphasis on managing and developing our Microsoft business. With his extensive experience of high value solutions and in-depth knowledge of our business, Dwayne is ideally placed to help us achieve our goals in this market.”
