The awards ceremony, held last Thursday at the Battersea Park Arena in London, saw 22 awards presented in front of more than 1,900 attendees.

Computer 2000 swept the board, winning a total of four awards including the Distributor of the Year, Software Distributor of the Year, Systems Distributor of the Year and Networking Distributor of the Year. Computerlinks won the Security Distributor of the Year accolade, while Midwich won the Specialist Distributor of the Year award.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers won both Vendor of the Year and Systems Vendor of the Year. Microsoft landed Software Vendor of the Year, while the Security Vendor of the Year category was a surprise scoop for Email Systems. Netgear won Networking Vendor of the Year for the third consecutive time and HP bagged the Storage Vendor of the Year prize.

The reseller category was as hotly competed as ever with Eurodata Systems, Basilica and Khipu Networks all picking up awards.
