Jellynet goes free

Online clearing house offers channel free listings until the end of January to make way for new stock

Written by Sara Yirrell

Surplus IT equipment auction site Jellynet is offering resellers free listings until 31 January for companies that register before 31 December.

Since the site’s launch in October, the firm has claimed an average of 200 hits a day which it expects to increase ‘dramatically’ in the new year.

The standard cost to sellers is £45 per month and it is free for buyers to use.

Mark Abrahams, chief executive of Jellynet, said: “Jellynet has really started to take off since its launch in October. To keep up with the demand, we are continually improving the site and this phase is just one of many to come. The fee listings offer is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to sell surplus kit, especially if they need to make space for new kit coming in next year.”
