Bechtle orders up OrderWork

Online reseller buddies up with IT skills marketplace to help customers

Written by Kayleigh Bateman

IT skills marketplace OrderWork has partnered with Bechtle to provide training and installation services to the e-tailer’s customer base.

OrderWork will provide Bechtle, which operates across Europe, with a recruitment service to fulfill the requirements of its UK customers.

James Napp, sales director for Bechtle UK, said: “As well as Bechtle’s own services team, OrderWork seemed a good complement to us. It will be a good partnership and resource for Bechtle and also our end users.

“To develop the relationship, every few weeks both companies get together and discuss the opportunities for them and what we can’t fill. OrderWork offers our end users specialist training and cabling installations where previously Bechtle wouldn’t have had the engineers available.”

Toby Strauss, executive chairman of OrderWork, said: “It means that Bechtle can add services to what it sells and increase its margin. OrderWork uses a network of suppliers and communicates through a web based portal.

“A short list is put out on a specific role and the first to respond is sent to Bechtle to give their assistance. This ensures OrderWork can respond to Bechtle’s needs quickly.”

Strauss continued to say how OrderWork has broadened the services it offers. It now provides training, which will also be supplied to Bechtle and its customers.
