Samsung and Computer 2000 expand relationship

Broadliner will now stock entire range of Samsung IT products

Written by Laura Hailstone

Computer 2000 (C2000) has become an authorized distributor for all Samsung IT products following the addition of Samsung mobile computer products to its existing portfolio of Samsung print and display products.

The addition of C2000 brings the total number of Samsung mobile computing distributors to four, with Micro Peripherals, Westcoast and Interface Solutions being the other three.

Phil Brown, general manager for Samsung’s Mobile Computer division, said: “The addition of C2000 to the Samsung authorised distributor network demonstrates the commitment of both parties to the channel. Having this fourth distributor onboard has cemented Samsung’s long-term distribution strategy in the UK, allowing us to focus wholly on providing the best levels of service and products. We are sure that this partnership will glean great results for Samsung and C2000 alike.”

Samsung’s partnership with C2000 offers resellers the possibility of receiving joint marketing funds of up to 7.5 per cent to support sales of the Samsung mobile computer range. As a direct result of the partnership with C2000, Samsung has already signed another 22 resellers to its Power Partner Programme.
