IronKey fits with Simms

A sole distribution deal has been confirmed between IronKey and Simms

Written by Sara Yirrell

Specialist memory distributor Simms International has signed a sole distribution partnership with security vendor IronKey.

Under the terms of the deal, Simms will set up a network of resellers to distribute IronKey’s flagship USB flash drive.

The distributor will supply two drives one aimed at the consumer and retail market and the other at the enterprise sector.

Alex Tatham, managing director of Simms, said: “IronKey’s drive fits into our portfolio very nicely. It encrypts everything and cannot be breached, so it is the most secure product on the market, which is particularly timely considering the number of data breaches in the UK.”

Steve Ryan, senior vice president of business development at IronKey, said: “The opportunities in the UK are huge. Simms came very highly recommended by resellers. It looks like a great partner and will be easy to work with.”
