Previously based near the Gherkin building in the City of London, the firm
has now moved to offices near London Bridge. Managing director Julian Andrews
revealed that his workforce has increased from 11 to 17 staff in the past three
months and he plans to hire five more people in the near future.
The new premises is 4,000sqft, three times the size of
Virocom’s
previous building. Some of that space has been sub-let, but Andrews claimed his
company plans to double its workforce over the next two years and expects to
take over the remaining space within that time.
Andrews told CRN: “The expansion of our sales force means that we need
more support staff to make sure that we can offer our customers better support.
As a company, we have to keep abreast of emerging technologies because if we do
not, someone else will.”
Andy Horn, head of telecoms vendor
Colt’s
UK SME division, said: “We recently signed a partnership with Virocom as it is
exactly the kind of partner with which we want to do business proactive and
skilled.”
