Aastra has completed its acquisition of Ericsson's Enterprise Communications Division.

The integrated business will fall under the Aastra brand name and extends the vendor's reach in the internet protocol Communication Servers and Unified Communication applications.

It will also widen its footprint in markets such as Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, and North/South America.

This acquisition will spearhead a transformation for the business, extending our footprint globally to include emerging markets where we believe there is a significant growth opportunity for Enteprise Communications. "
