Partnership between Gem and Wacom marks new distribution deal

Specialist retail distributor Gem has signed a partnership with pen tablet vendor Wacom.

Under the terms of the agreement, Gem will distribute Wacom’s range of Cintiq interactive pen displays and pen tablets to its network of retailers and resellers.

Frans Ditmer, director of business development at Wacom Europe, which also works with Computers Unlimited in the UK, said: “We have selected Gem because of its strength in the software and retail markets.”

Simon Lee, commercial director at Gem, added: “Wacom is the brand leader in the pen tablet market,
so this makes for a really strong partnership.”
