Toshiba adds Westcoast to b-2-b stable

Notebook vendor deepens relationship with broadline distributor Westcoast in business-to-business push

Written by Kayleigh Bateman

Vendor Toshiba has expanded its relationship with distributor Westcoast in a bid to target the SME laptop channel.

The vendor, which already works with Westcoast around retail, plans to grow its business-to-business (b-2-b) market share with the broadliner, citing Westcoast’s recent acquisition strategy.

Neil Bramley, B2B UK sales director at Toshiba, said: “With Toshiba’s new range of laptops and digital media products and its continued strengths in offering a variety of promotions and tools to help SME resellers realise the potential within this market place, it is the right time to evolve further the way we work with the channel.”

“Toshiba is confident that Westcoast, in conjunction with our existing distributors, can help create and realise increasing opportunities for SME focussed resellers,” he added.

Toshiba’s B2B partnership with Westcoast commences on 14 May.
