Yosemite signs Northamber

Broadliner adds data protection vendor to its line-up

Written by Kayleigh Bateman

Northamber has announced that it will distribute data protection vendor Yosemite Technologies’ backup solutions portfolio to its network of resellers.

Under the terms of the partnership the distributor will offer the vendor’s full portfolio which ranges from Yosemite Backup solutions, for servers, to its new FileKeeper Professional suite for continuous notebook and PC back up.

Jared Cary, product channels director at Northamber, said: “Yosemite’s strong backup solutions will enable Northamber to drive new revenues and deliver greater choice to our business customers with storage needs.

“Yosemite’s products will enable us to offer a complete solution from the core to the edge of a company’s network using Yosemite FileKeeper laptop and desktop continuous data protection software and the server based Yosemite Backup suite of products.”

Cary said the education, financial and public sectors in particular are demanding new PC and server backup solutions both in the office and remotely.

Yosemite will provide product and sales training to Northamber’s sales team as the products are rolled out to the distributor’s VAR community.

Martin Petts, northern EMEA sales manager at Yosemite, said: “Northamber will be a great asset in making Yosemite’s solutions more readily available through its IT channel reseller partners.”

Petts said Yosemite Backup, with its new Unlimited Server product, will appeal to Northamber’s SME partners.
