Blue Coat backs Cohort for training

Security and WAN optimisation vendor hands distributor Authorised Training Centre status

Written by Doug Woodburn

Distributor Cohort Technology has been appointed as an Authorised Training Centre for security and WAN optimisation vendor Blue Coat.

The partnership will see Cohort - which was founded by channel stalwart Grahame Smee last year - provide training for Blue Coat resellers at its Basingstoke and London outposts.

Ian Gilbey, services director of Cohort, said: “Vendor endorsed training is a big part of our overall service offering.”

“We will offer the full range of courses including the new Mach 5 WAN acceleration courses. We are also developing a range of commercially based workshops around this technology, this further demonstrates our commitment to the value-add model on which our company is based.”
