Comms-care revs up rapid response unit

Channel services firm equips members of its new Rapid Response Service with Honda CBF600 bikes to beat traffic in busy cities

Written by Doug Woodburn

Channel support services firm Comms-care is equipping its field engineers with high-specification motorbikes to improve its support for resellers with customers in busy cities.

The firm's new Rapid Response Service is aimed at maintaining customers’ networks more efficiently across high density areas - and thereby increasing service availability to its channel partners.

Members of the unit will be kitted out with Honda CBF600 bikes with shock and water proof panniers capable of carry equipment for installation and maintenance work. Comms-care said the move was a response to increased traffic on city roads.
Ewan Conlon, responsible for service delivery at Cisco partner Comms-care said: “The Rapid Response Team will strengthen our service greatly and I see this type of initiative growing in London and other cities across the UK also.

“Our channel partners in London will benefit from a higher level of support knowing that we will be able to quickly respond to any fault call well within the SLA increasing service availability to our Customers and associated user communities.”
