Colt tempts VARs to go all the way

UK VARs are being urged to go in for the full-on Colt Experience as the telecoms group launches a series of SME-focused products and services.

Written by Sam Trendall

The Colt Experience initiative has three facets designed to offer SMEs a comprehensive and flexible portfolio of products and services. Collaborate More offers customers access to Colt’s consultancy and professional services. Care More introduces two types of service level agreement (SLA), with varying levels of support. And Create More, not yet available through the vendor’s channel, offers preconfigured or tailored product bundles.

Andy Horn, head of Colt’s UK SME division, said earlier this year that he wanted his company to focus on serving the SME market through the channel.

“The Colt Experience restates and re-emphasises that commitment to the SME market,” he said.

Julian Andrews, managing director of reseller Virocom, which partnered with Colt in February, said: “Colt possibly did not have the right channel tools before, but it is putting those in place now.”
