Griffin teams up with BT to push 21 CN

Two firms claim opportunity is there for channel to capitalise on business demand for high-value broadband

Written by Sara Yirrell

Griffin Internet has teamed up with BT Wholesale (BTW) to push the benefits of 21st Century Network (21CN) to the channel.

The ISP hosted a joint event with BTW at the BT Tower in central London, for more than 100 resellers and system integrators to explain how 21 CN will create more opportunities for VARs to sell high value broadband-based networks.

During the event, BTW unveiled a host of business-focused features such as guaranteed bandwidth and quality of service – available in 98 per cent of BT’s exchanges. Included in the portfolio is Griffin’s MPLS IPVPN, which it claims enables partners to link up customer sites with a mix of broadband, private circuits and Ethernet.

Andrew Dickinson, sales and marketing director at Griffin, said: “There is a growing demand for multi-site broadband-based networks and our partners need a differentiated product that they can easily white label, without the need for expensive technical resource and infrastructure. The bids our partners are currently working on have an average order value over £100k of recurring annual revenue and margins above 50 per cent.”
