Tough trading conditions have claimed another channel victim in the shape of Durham-based reseller Omnicom CTi Limited Systems.
The Microsoft and Intel partner was wound up on 16 June after it was presented with a petition from Micro Peripherals in February.
Eddie Pacey, director of credit at distributor Bell Micro, said he was not surprised to hear of the development. “Bell was aware that Omnicom was reliant on the Mitek Group, which went down quite heavily about three years ago, so this obviously caused problems for it.”
