Cobweb spins partner programme

Vendor piggy backs on Microsoft global partner event to launch its own channel strategy

Written by Sara Yirrell

Hosted Services provider Cobweb has launched a new partner programme which it has claims will offer resellers business growth opportunities.

Cobweb picked Microsoft’s global partner conference in Texas to announce its news.

The vendor plans to roll out hosted CRM, unified messaging and HR applications over the next six months, which it believes will enable VARs to offer SME access to solutions at an affordable price point.

Cobweb’s programme is divided into four levels – White Label, Sell With Premier, Sell With and Refer. The firm has also launched a dedicated partner portal.

Mark Adams, managing director of Cobweb, said: “As new technologies continue to emerge, SMEs are forced to allocate additional budget to remain technologically competitive. But in the current economic climate this is becoming unsustainable and SMEs are waking up to the inherent benefits of outsourcing key parts of their IT infrastructure.

“By partnering with Cobweb, resellers can take advantage of this market opportunity. Our hosted services and solutions are flexible and scalable enough to handle the full range of businesses from small to large and our pricing model offers attractive revenue opportunities.”
