Integrator Intrinsic Technology has claimed it will help Conwy County Borough Council (CBC) save over £1m over the next decade with a new converged communications infrastructure.
The VAR followed a stringent tender process through Catalist to win the tender, which will involve designing, installing and supporting a new converged communications infrastructure for the council.
Intrinsic Technology also claimed the installation will help the council’s 2,000 strong workforce enjoy increased functionality and productivity, and will also enhance the service for the council’s 112,000 citizens.
Paul Ubysz, IT services manager at Conwy CBC, said: “The new converged communications infrastructure will eradicate the current mishmash of systems with the deployment of one platform. This will reduce management time of the infrastructure drastically and make significant savings to the bottom line over the next few years.”
Adam Jarvis, sales director at Intrinsic Technology, said: “Ultimately this network will contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of public services to the Conwy population and make the working environment more flexible and productive. The solution will not only increase productivity but will have an impact on efficiencies and the bottom line.”
