Jones is relishing new role as UK chief

Integralis' Jones comes home

Global security integrator's chief operating officer admits there is some " serious" assessment work to do as he takes on UK role

Written by Sara Yirrell

Graham Jones is stepping down from the chief operating officer role at security integrator Integralis to take up a new role as head of the UK operation.

The change, effective from 1 July, means that the current chief executive of Integralis, Georg Magg, will oversee the chief operating officer role until a replacement can be found.

Speaking exclusively to CRN, Jones said: “We have turned Integralis from being loss making, to profitable and we are now looking to be successful.

“The UK has been headless for six months and it is the biggest division of the company. There is a good management team in place and this role will give me the ability to be hands-on again.”

He added that the integrator is looking to beef up its managed services business and is particularly focusing on the local government sector. It will be unveiling a dedicated local government team in September, Jones revealed.

However Jones admitted he has some "serious" assessment work to do in the UK – Integralis is split into three teams, a compliance consulting team, an installation delivery team and a pre-consulting team.

“I have to ensure all these teams are profitable,” he said.

Jones also said that the UK would also look to acquisitions if it benefits the business.

“We will look at anything that augments the business. We are not looking to buy tin shifting companies – if they are good at consulting then we are interested,” he said.

Integralis is due to release its second quarter financials next month.
