Printerland demo centre sparks A3 sales boom

VAR welcomes in 1,000th customer to printer showroom since its launch last year

Written by Doug Woodburn

VAR Printerland claims its A3 printer business has boomed ten-fold since it opened its demonstration centre last September.

The reseller has just reached a landmark 1,000 visitors to the showroom, which allows staff to assist customers to find the most suitable product. The facility is 20 minutes from Printerland’s Altrincham headquarters.

Carl Barron, demonstration centre manager of Printerland, said: “A customer is generally interested in the print quality, the speed of print operations, and the noise the printer makes. By seeing the printer in action customers are reassured of the quality and are more confident in their purchase."

The announcement comes after Printerland confirmed it intends to aggressively acquire smaller printer dealers to boost its turnover to £20m by 2010.
