Infor praises partners

Software vendor outlines its channel vision at second annual EMEA partner summit in Marbella

Written by Kayleigh Bateman

Enterprise software vendor Infor staged a love in with its resellers at its recent second annual EMEA partner conference in Marbella.

The two-day event, held earlier this week, drew in 140 Infor channel partners and was broken into three sections: Key initiatives; Infor’s five Centres of Excellence; and tools available through the Infor University.

Jean Philippe Pommel, vice president EMEA channels and alliances of Infor, said: “The conference outlined and celebrated the successes of last year – the economy has been tough, but as a team Infor and its channel partners have done well.

“One of the key initiatives mentioned was a certification programme, which will be up and running in the next six months.”

Philippe said partners were reminded of the vendor’s Centres of Excellence throughout Europe, which were opened in June.

The centres include Asset Management, Enterprise Management, Financial Performance Management, Supply Management and Warehousing Management. The centres are available to partners and direct customers for training on Infor solutions.

Richard Moore, public relations manager for EMEA at Infor, said Infor also announced its online University at the partner event.

“The web-based Infor University is for any partner selling any solution that wants to receive more training. The event ensured that all our partners know what tools are available to them,” said Moore.
