"Disgustingly happy" - Carlow

Repton hits £40m turnover

Infrastructure reseller celebrates spike in top and bottom lines

Written by Kayleigh Bateman

Reseller Repton claims it has closed the books on its most successful year yet having breached the £40m turnover mark for the first time.

The reseller said it has banked a preliminary pre-tax profit of £800,000 for the year to 30 September, double its previous best. Last year it hit a profit of about £200,000 on sales of £31.5m.

Greg Carlow, managing director of Repton, said: “We are disgustingly happy with the results. We had about £9m of back orders on the books when we entered the year and we will finish with £11m.

“We are aware we are on thin ice with the credit crunch – it feels like a false paradise because we have achieved good results from securing our biggest contracts to date this year.”
