Email security vendor plans to increase partner numbers in Scotland and Ireland

Written by Kayleigh Bateman

Email security vendor Proofpoint is looking to boost its tally of Scotland and Ireland-based channel partners.

The vendor, which already partners with 25 UK resellers, including Trustmarque, SCC and Unisys, recruited distributor DNS Arrow in September to cope with growing demand from resellers.

Oliver Carter, Proofpoint’s EMEA channel director, said: “Ideally we would like some more partners in Scotland and Ireland as there are a lot of opportunities there. We will be recruiting partners to add to the mix, focusing on geographies and vertical markets.

“For businesses cash is king, so if a partner secures a meeting with customer, we pay them with cash. When the partner closes the deal, we pay them with cash.”
