Reseller ComputerLand, part of Capita IT Services, has become one of NetApp’s top 20 UK partners after it was promoted to Platinum level in the storage giant’s partner programme.
To reach Platinum partner level ComputerLand had to meet the sales training, technical training and revenue requirements set by NetApp.
The storage and data management vendor also awarded David Waters, storage and virtualisation business development manager at ComputerLand, the Outstanding Achievement award for a technical individual.
Martyn Donnelly, business development director at ComputerLand, said: “This acknowledgement from NetApp is great recognition of our commitment to delivering the best services to our customers. It will reinforce the fact that not only do we have the ability to deliver, but we are continuously striving to improve our business and offerings.
“We are very proud of what David has achieved and are pleased that his outstanding dedication has been rewarded. ComputerLand is looking forward to a successful relationship with NetApp as a Platinum level partner.”
Pete Rawden, channel sales director at NetApp, said: “David Waters received the outstanding achievement award as a result of his original and imaginative use of NetApp technology in customer solutions. He showed unwavering commitment to the partnership between ComputerLand and NetApp and has gained a real understanding of how to use our solutions to get the best value for ComputerLand’s customers.
“ComputerLand’s promotion to the Platinum level in our NetApp Partner Program, and David’s talent and creativity, further demonstrates our mutual commitment to driving business opportunities in the future.”
