Vendor launches web portal for Apple service providers to register data recovery jobs

Written by Kayleigh Bateman

Disaster recovery vendor Kroll Ontrack has launched a web portal for its Apple service providers.

Apple service providers can register data recovery jobs in real time through a customised web portal. Service providers also have access to data recovery specialists and engineers.

Once a data recovery job is registered on the portal, customers will receive automated updates directly from Kroll Ontrack.

Phil Bridge, managing director of Kroll Ontrack UK, said: "Apple service providers and users can now more easily benefit from the 20 years of data recovery experience and dedicated Apple expertise Kroll Ontrack has to offer.

"With the new global data recovery portal, customers who need data recovery have easier access to a much-needed service when data loss occurs."

Through its Ontrack Data Recovery services, the vendor offers solutions for Apple customers with Mac systems, servers, applications, files and operating systems, as well as iPod and iPhone devices.

Eric Morris, technician at service provider Mymacdealer, which recently used the portal, said: "We at Mymacdealer, as well as our client, were very impressed by the promptness and personal attention given by the Ontrack Data Recovery team.

"Kroll Ontrack simplified the data recovery process; we look forward to working with them more in the future."
