CCI expands management team

Storage distributor recruits three industry experts to support the company’s restructuring

Storage distributor CCI Distribution has extended its management team with the announcement of three new recruits.

The appointments have been made predominantly to support the restructuring of CCI’s sales and marketing divisions, in addition to increasing capacity within the company’s commercial division.

The staff investments have been made to support the company’s restructuring of its sales and marketing divisions, as well as increase the capacity within CCI’s commercial division.

Based at its Harrogate headquarters, new appointments include Paul Routledge as business development manager, Jane Craven as sales manager and Dominic Rix as marketing manager.

With 15 years of data and network storage experience, Routledge joins CCI from data storage vendor Adaptec, where he was channel sales manager.

Craven was formerly head of corporate sales at telecom distribution company Rocom, while Rix was previously head of strategic sales at retail financial services company IPF Group.

Karen Smith, HR director at CCI, said: “Companies that invest during a recession can really give themselves a competitive advantage – there are talented, intelligent and creative individuals in the job market that are available to those organisations willing to move now, rather than waiting for the climate to improve.

“Furthermore, CCI is committed to investing in staff development, and the recent training initiative has served to reinvigorate current staff as well as helping our newest recruits get quickly up to speed with our business and plans for 2009 and beyond.”

CCI also announced it has completed a company-wide training programme. The programme is aimed at furthering employees’ skill sets.
